Dr. Paul J. Pockros

Dr. Paul J. Pockros is a board-certified gastroenterologist/hepatologist who is the Division Head of Gastroenterology/Hepatology and Co-Director of the Center for Liver Diseases at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, California. He has published close to a 100 articles/abstracts dealing with liver disease.

With over 18 years of clinical research experience, he is also President/Director of SC Liver Research Consortium; a clinical trial network made up of 34 sites throughout the United States, specializing in liver/GI research which he founded in 1997.  The consortium currently has 15 ongoing hepatitis B and C clinical trials.
