HIV/HCV Treatments in Current Clinical Development
The PI's to treat HCV mono-infection have greatly increased the chances of being cured, but for people with HIV/HCV the drugs are not approved and for some they are being prescribed off-label. There are other resources, however, that can help people with HIV/HCV coinfection. In the last few months there have been Phase III studies using direct acting antiviral combination therapies that are currently recruiting patients.
