David H. Winston, MD, FACP is Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona, Sun City. He is also Clinical Investigator at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cornell College of Medicine Cooperating Hospitals in New York. Dr. Winston also completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the David C.H. Sun Institute of Gastroenterology in Phoenix. Dr. Winston has served as principal investigator in a number of clinical trials investigating the treatment of hepatitis C and presented his research on hepatitis C both in the U.S. and Europe. In addition, he has published over 30 abstracts and papers. His major research interest is the management of side effects in the treatment of hepatitis C in clinical practice. Dr. Winston was named to the Top Doctors List by Phoenix Magazine and America’s Top Physician List 2003, 2004 and 2005 by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.

Donna C. Winston, PhD, NP
Donna C. Winston, PhD, NP received her PhD in clinical research from Texas Woman’s University. She has been on the faculties of the University of Texas, Wayne State University, and Arizona State University. Dr. Winston has been co-investigator and co-author with her husband Dr. David H. Winston in numerous gastrointestinal and hepatology research studies in which she generated the research designs and methodologies.
